Our second trip to the island of Uloya. This time a different drop off on the other side of the island at a small fishing port.

My top energy sources:
Malt Loaf: my personal favourite and always popular when handed around. fruity, chewy and about 80% carb
Dried dates: stick it in the corner of your mouth and chew away whilst putting in the miles.
Bananas: a great natural carbo source, but tend to go mushy after a big fall!!

I had to share this image. Just incredible views over the fjords. Apparently whales can often be seen in this area as they cruise the protected waters around here in order to mate.

Pistehors covered this story recently. It goes to show that even the most experienced off piste skiers cant always predict the nature of the snow pack.
